with Lt. Steven Hamilton, Fort Jackson (S.C.) Fire Department
Saturday, March 29, 2014 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
at the Dryden Fire Station
26 North Street

This presentation will discuss an appropriate Fire Service and/or EMS response to violent, or potentially violent, scenes. This includes the single company response to a victim of domestic violence as well as a multiagency “active shooter” response. Participants will receive information regarding pre-incident planning as well as considerations for developing policies and procedures for response to such incidents. The program will include case history analysis as well as a review of statistical data that highlight the hidden dangers that emergency responders face while responding to violent incidents.
This training is open to all Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement personnel and is provided at NO CHARGE by the Dryden Fire Department.
